Overview:
Grant for community media (must utilize INET) projects. Range is $3,500 to $280,000. Requires 50% matching funds.
Proposal:
Free Geek creates industry partnership to provide matching funds for education program expansion. Funding for:
- Finish classroom - construction, acoustics, lighting.
- Complete sound system installation.
- Purchase DV camera(s) for broadcast quality production.
- Sublimental hardware for video editing system (Cinelerra).
- Program "staff" - Internship for 1 year?
