The Outreach Representative for the Board of Directors must be able to create positive awareness about Free Geek and it's mission, as well as find community members and partner organizations who are interested in helping our cause. Accordingly, an Outreach Director must:

-Have a thorough understanding of Public Relations as a practice, and be able to help the organization create a PR platform from which to base future outreach efforts.

-Understand how to form partnerships with other organizations and community members. Free Geek has connections with a number of other nonprofits, and strengthening these relationships will be critical to our cause.

-Be able to communicate Free Geek's message in a clear and concise manner. An Outreach Director should be able communicate in a clear, concise manner, in a way that will reflect positively on the organization.

-Network with other professionals, and speak in a public setting. Candidates should posses a strong skill set in this field.
