Broken Upgrade Process/Partial Upgrade
Some times the upgrade process can not complete successfully. If so update manager will show the following box:
Selecting 'Partial Upgrade' will start a self-healing process that will bring the system back to working state.
You will need to click through the following screen to begin.
It should fix itself. When it is done you should run the check for new updates and install them.
