Block Party Permit
Coordinator: Sergio
Status: Need to get paperwork and submit by 6/22 - DONE, will be submitted 6/19
Paperwork is filled out, and all necessary signatures have been obtained from representatives of abutting properties. Since we do not need an alcohol sales ordinance for Geek Fair, this permit will cost us nothing.
Noise Permit

Status: Need to submit Noise Variance Application (with site plan and distances to residences) and pay $52 fee at ONI at least two weeks before Geek Fair, as it can take up to 10 days for our application to be reviewed.
Fire Marshall

Status: Gotta get it. DONE, will be submitted 6/19.
Square footage info for fire permit: the area of 10th Ave. we are having closed for Geek Fair is 13500 sq. ft. (60' x 225'), including the sidewalks. The parking lot is 5000 sq. ft. Total outdoor area is 18500 sq. ft. If we estimate the indoor area we'll be using for the event at 5000 sq. ft., this puts us at 23,500 sq. ft., just under the 25,000 sq. ft. limit for the $150 fee.
We should get our lighted exit signs (and possibly some egress maps) put back up in preparation for an inspection, should PF&R choose to do so.
