Processing Gift Certificates

If there are not extra blank certificates in the Thrift Store please print any new certifciates on Yellow heavy bond paper. Please fill in all relevant information for gift certificates. When you get to the field marked "Gift Cert. Number" please go to the database home page (http://data/), click the link "contact," press the "search" button, and when the "Create New Contact" button appears, press it. Enter the gift certficate as as contact using this dummy gift certificate as a guide: (http://data/contacts/lookup, contact name is "Gift Certificate #0"). Each new successive gift certificate is one unit higher than the last, so the first after zero is #1. When a customer uses a gift certificate, please edit the amount left over in the contact field.
