BC Computer Reuse Standard Residual Lifespan Criteria

Input Criteria

Must be 5 years or newer.

PC Unit Requirements:

Celeron, AMD K6, Pentium III-800MHz and above CPU 10 GB hard drive 128 MB RAM CD/DVD with Read/Write capability Working Minimum SVGA or flat panel monitors. Operating System. Not less than two updates. (i.e.: As Windows Vista is appearing, Windows ME/2000 is the oldest version acceptable.)

Mac Requirements:

Powermac and Powerbook G3 400 MHz


Output Criteria

Units must be tested, refurbished and in complete working order prior to distribution. Any residual material and/or incomplete or non-functioning units should be designated as e-waste and diverted to the program for recycling.
