Goals
To help "professionalize" the recycling area, inspiring volunteers to be more invested in the recycling program.
Safety and Tool Kits
Safety First
- All volunteers in recycling need to wear eye protection and gloves.
- All volunteers need to be trained on safe practices, inluding eye protection and gloves.
- Each volunteer will receive a "kit" at the beginning of their shift, and return it at the end of their shift.

Program Structure
Basic Recycling
- System Deconstruction
- open/vaccuum case
- remove drives (MOTORS & DRIVES)
- remove CBs/MBs (ADVANCED RECYCLING)
- remove wiring and cords (WIRES or CORDS)
- Remove fans & speakers (FANS/SPEAKERS)
- remove plastic (PLASTIC)
- remaining steel (STEEL)
- Power Supply Deconstruction
- remove wire bundle (WIRES)
- remove metal case cover (STEEL)
