Reception Revamp
- Replace floor with stable, durable surface
- Replace desk with higher, stable desk (desk built)
- look into new door for between reception and receiving.

- If not, requesting $3000 approval from Board July 2008 to allow for alternate & timely plan
- convert office supplies area to cafeteria space so we can move cafeteria out from current location

- If a go, pick a weekend to complete floor while closed on a weekend
- Gather crew: Brian (of Laurel), Erik (of MK), Sean (of FG)
- If Liascos timeline does NOT work for FG, then:
- Ask if we can still use donated supplies
- Contact Erik for logistics of doing it with his crew (budget, supplies, etc.)
- Either work on weekend, or create temporary donations station and help volunteers log/check-in elsewhere (cafeteria?)
- Clear out/move Cafeteria
- Remove dry-erase board
- Cut hole in cafeteria wall and finish edges
- Move desk and 1 FD computer (or new computer) to new "Donations" counter

EXAMPLE PROJECT
Cafeteria Al Fresco
- This project will move the cafeteria to the roof. By moving the cafeteria to the roof volunteers will have access to sunshine and fresh air as well as a relaxing place to take a break.

- Building a shelter on the roof to accommodate volunteers during the rainy season
- Designing and constructing an elevator that goes from the ground floor up to the roof

- Get an enormous flat-panel TV so volunteers can watch FOX news during their break
- John will ask friend about where to get this. He will do this by 5/30/08.
