The objective of outreach is to inform the Spanish-speaking community of the opportunities that Free Geek offers specifically the Spanish Build program. The most successful outreach will bring people in for the Spanish tour (the first step to volunteering) and will have people call Renee (the Spanish Build coordinator) or Ricardo (the Spanish Build outreach coordinator).

The best results from outreach have been from radio spots, and getting numbers from interested people and following up with them.

The best results for getting bilingual instructors has been from approaching current bilingual volunteers and seeing if they are interested and willing to be instructors int he Spanish Build program. Also, the advertisement in the Free geek website under available internships has been successful.
