Getting on the thrift store email list. Go to list.freegeek.org/admin/thriftstore and add the intern as a mass subscription.

Printing out a merit badge sheet (the doc that would be used to track progress. may be physical, may live here)

Introduce volunteer to paid workers with an emphasis on store employees (may not be bad to introduce the intern to store folks first when their memory is fresh).
