I have two general thoughts about this space.

First, I would question the need for an "Internet Cafe" - not sure if this is still in the works, but if so I'd like to know more about it. Seems to me that (1) our capitalist world is supplying plenty of Internet Cafes, and to the degree that more can or should exist, FG can best fill this need by supplying more GAPs at existing cafes. And (2) it doesn't seem like it really serves FG's mission in a significant way. If it could be set up as a revenue generator, that's great, but it would almost seem better to me to have FG delegate the setup and operation of a cafe to people who are more "restaurant biz" people than "computer people", and then support them on the technical end of it.

Second, I think the "White Hole" is potentially the most physically attractive room at FG (lots of light, high ceilings, etc.) and should ideally become one of the main places the public is first invited into FreeGeek. This could mean a less cramped place for tours to start, with some information about the organization posted in a friendly way...or the store could be there...something along those lines. I think the niceness of this room should be leveraged to contribute to FG's public image.
