Talk:PCI Modem Sorting

I had an idea to change where some things go. First of all, hardware modems go to the TARDIS. I also thought we could try sending the PCI modems we don't want back to sorting. My idea is to have the eval 2 people get the PCI modem box, dump it out, put it back and put the extra cards in their box to be sorted. They could even do the eval boxes this way. This has several advantages, it saves a little space on the flow chart, it gets the modems that we want out in eval so we don't have to dump them an extra time, it gives eval 2 more to do while still letting people in sorting see PCI modems, it also makes it easier to get the special ones we sometimes want, the store and their customers can put them on the wish list and the store, or anyone who knows what is on the wish list, can go to the box in sorting and look for them there.

I also discovered that we were going through the main part of the flow chart for the cards that are not PCI modems instead of the ones that are.

I'm sending the ones we woulda tossed to advanced receiving. This is just until we see that nothing's slipping through the cracks.
