Job Title: Tour Guide Intern |
Responsibilities
- Give 2-3 tours a week to prospective Free Geek volunteers, hardware donors, and the general public
- Perform volunteer intake after each tour
- Help improve tours and tour documentation
Desired Qualifications
- Outgoing personality
- Penchant for public, casual speaking
- Good memory
- Must be able to come in during 1 to 3 tour times: noon - 1pm and 5pm - 5pm Tuesday through Saturday
In addition:
The ideal candidate will be able to work well under stress and maintain a positive attitude in a relatively chaotic setting. The candidate will not be afraid to ask questions, but will be able to work on projects with minimal supervision. The candidate will be able to remain flexible as Free Geek grows and changes.
