Hi, I'm Pete Forsyth. I live here in Portland, Oregon, and have been volunteering at Free Geek since 2001. My FG email address is "pete@..." or you can reach me by cell phone at 503-453-9766.
My main interest at Free Geek is outreach to the public, in order to recruit new volunteers and hardware/financial donors. I have worked extensively on the Media Kit, and worked to get several stories published in various publications, including Earth First! Journal, Lifestyles Northwest, and the Portland Tribune.
I also volunteer with the Bus Project.
I have a consulting business too (Puddletown Tech), and work on Windows, Mac, and Linux. I generally work with small businesses and home offices.
I write lots, here on the FreekiWiki, on Wikipedia.org, at BlueOregon, and elsewhere. I keep an archive of my writing here.
