Attributes are viewed as inborn qualities that all characters have, such as "Strength", "Intelligence", and so forth. They are usually defined as some essential quality of the person, rather than in terms of an activity the person does. i.e. "Speed" rather than "Running", and "Empathy" rather than "Persuasion". Skills
