Volunteer Intern Standard Response

This is the standard initial response to a new volunteer internship applicant.

Thank you for your interest in Free Geek's volunteer internship program! Before we are able to set up an interview you will need to take a tour (if you're a current volunteer then you do not need to take the tour again).

Tours are offered Tuesday - Saturday at 11am and 4:00 pm. No appointment is necessary, just show up a few minutes early to fill our a Volunteer Application. The tour will introduce you to what Free Geek looks like on any given day, convey details about our volunteer programs, and provide you with a better understanding of how your potential internship fits into the whole organization.

I will also be forwarding your internship request to the appropriate Free Geek coordinator. He/she will touch base with you about setting up an interview. If you do not hear anything within a week, please let me know and I will follow up.
