Free Geek has and assortment of different keys (locks). The Staff Collective manages the disbursement of the keys, they base this on the needs of the organization. The staff collective is responsible for collecting Keys and changing locks as necessary.

There is to be a list of key holders for every set of keys/locks. This list of key holders also informs every one the reason for the key, who gets keys and how they go about getting the key.

After hours when there's no event or meeting only authorized external key holders can be in the building. A keyholder can make instance by instance exceptions to this rule, providing key holder stays in building and is responsible for those persons. Such exceptions should be reported to the staff list for review.
