This document is meant to give guidance to the store folks in what laptop drives they can and can not take to the store. Below is the list of minimum amount of each drives that should be left for laptop build.
DO NOT TAKE SATA DRIVES NO MATTER WHAT SIZE
Anything under 10 GB
- Take all to the store
10 GB - 30 GB
These are the minimum amounts of respectively sized drives you can take:
- 10 GB = 10 drives
- 20 GB = 10 drives
- 30 GB = 15 drives
If there are extras, feel free to take those also.
40 GB
- Do not take any of these to the store
60 GB
- Do not take any of these to the store
80 GB
- minimum of 20 drives
100 GB - 120 GB
- minimum of 5 drives
Over 120 GB
Take all to the store
Other Notes
- recycle all thinker than normal laptop hard drives
