Machines

The credit card processing machine.

As of mid-2009, we now use the Verifone NURIT 8400.

To replace paper

Pull up on the blue flap just above where the paper comes out. This will unlatch the cover for the paper; the roll sits in the bottom of the trough with the paper coming under the roll toward you. Make sure the end of the paper comes through the opening when you close it.

This paper is kept in the Thrift Store, in the bottom drawer of the main POS counter.

Supplies

The Verifone NURIT 8400 uses thermal tape, NOT carbon copy paper. Be sure to purchase the proper size (width: 2 1/4 inch & length: 115 ft) so it fits into the machine.

In the past, we have ordered boxes from http://www.merchantequip.com/processing-equipment/reciept-paper/249/
