Card sorting by function

Step One -- Familiarize Yourself with Connectors

First, get a box of cards to be sorted, pour them into a pile in the center of the table, and rummage through them, looking for these connector types:

Type	Picture	Clue
HD15	Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination	three rows of holes
DVI	Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination	lots of little square holes
RJ11	Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination	like for a phone, has 4 pins
RJ45	Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination	bigger than an RJ11
Sound Ports	Error creating thumbnail: Unable to save thumbnail to destination	little and round, don't stick out, may be 3, 4, 5 or 6
Antenna Connector		much smaller than a F connector (connector for a cable TV)

NOTE: You're not sorting yet, just learning the different connector types.

There will be other connector types, but the above ones are all you need to pay attention to in order to complete this job.

Step Two -- The Basic Sort

Pick up each card and using the following chart, put each card in one of six piles (video, sound, modem, network, wireless, and miscellaneous.)

Step Three -- Finish Up

See if it's correct. You should now have up to 6 piles:

1. Video Cards
2. Modems
3. Sound
4. Network
5. Wireless
6. Miscellaneous
