Original Note: Free Geek's front desk area is one of the busiest places in the organization. For this reason, the front desk has two stations. The volunteer Front Desk Intern would fill the second station, acting as back-up. Do not be fooled, though - the back-up receptionist is very often just as busy as the primary receptionist.
