This is a place to hash out what we want out of any follow-up surveys to be sent to grant recipients. Eventually, this discussion may lead to a web-based survey to be sent to all recipient organizations.

The results

Here is a preliminary report from the first batch of survey results: File:Surveyreport.pdf.

Purpose

  • To get specific feedback on the granting process in order to improve our services
  • To solicit testimonials for use in PR fundraising projects.
  • To identify organizations we should do additional PR follow-up with, such as site visits and photos.

How a survey would look

This is copied from End of Program Survey.

Welcome Page

Budget?
Who does your organization serve?
Demographic blurb
How many?

I don't think we need to the anonymous/public sections of this survey. The idea for using this with post-program surveys was that you're talking about personal financial and demographic info. But this is dealing with organizations. No need to complicate it since the info is not as sensitive (doing so involves two, separate surveys, and we pay for both)Tonyc 18:49, 18 November 2009 (UTC)

We are always looking for success stories that we can tell around the campfire. Would your organization like to furnish us with one? We would love to have a story and a picture that shows just how giving computers to organizations allows them to do awesome things.
