This position is full-time, 40 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, 9:30AM to 6:30PM, some evening or morning meetings with some flexibility.  This position is represented by a union, and union membership is mandatory upon hire.

It's more important for us to find someone who has a strong hands-on volunteer management background and an aptitude to learn nerdy stuff than for us to find a someone that speaks binary. Responsibilities

  • Lead workshop-style classes
  • Troubleshoot and help maintain Reuse technical infrastructure
  • Stock reuse area with needed hardware and components
  • Manage incoming and outgoing devices and gizmos
  • Recruit volunteers from Build to move on to Post-Build areas
  • Keep volunteers on track and within established systems and procedures
  • Prepare Reuse areas prior to volunteer shifts
  • Orient volunteers to production areas and procedures
  • Work floor shifts coordinating volunteers
  • Ensure that gizmo quality control protocols are being met
  • Be an active member of the Production Committee
