Overview
This is a repository of past and present grants as well as a resource for researching, and writing grants for Free Geek.
Volunteering
The Grant Writing Group is an open committee, that anyone with an interest in grnt writing is encouraged to attend/participate. Volunteer tasks that are availabel are:
- Research of potential grants
- Contacts
- Writing narratives
- Preparing budgets and financial statements
- Formatting and assembling grant submittals
- Preparing progress reports and final reports
- Site visits/tours for granting foundation
Grant Information
- Grant Deadlines - upcoming grants and when they are due.
- Pending Grants - submitted grants waiting for acceptence/rejection.
- Successful Grants - text of grants that got us money!
- Unsuccessful Grants - text of grants we did not get.
Grant Materials
- Narratives - organizational descriptions
- Financial Statements - statements, program budgets and project budgets.
- Appendices - additional material, demographics, performance statistics, reports and sources.
