Printers
This is the list of printers to keep or recycle.
When keeping a printer, leave the cartridge with the printer. Also keep the power supplies that you need
If the printer is not listed, please ask either Nathan, Michael, Jon what to do with it. DO NOT recycle printers that are not listed
Remember if the printer is not listed, ASK.
Inkjet printers
Hewlett Packard
Deskjets 700 series and below Recycle
Above 700 series Keep
Epson
Stylus 700 series and below Recycle
Above 700 series Keep
Canon
All of them Recycle
Lexmark
I dont remember which ones we keep and whick we recycle??????????
Laser Printers
HP laserjet 4 and above Keep
Except Laserjet 4si
Lexmark Optra S and Above Keep
All others Recycle
How to recycle printers
If a printer is on it way to be recycling there are some basic things that need to be done first.
- Record Gizmo number on tally sheet
- Remove paper
- Remove Toner
- Mine for components (see Printer Mining List)
- Remove plastic
- Put in Printer gaylord
If you follow these steps you have done it correctly.
