-The council consists of FREE GEEK community members - staff and volunteers - who wish to be involved with the direction FREE GEEK goes and the creation of policy. -The council meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:15 in the FREE GEEK [[Meeting Room]]. The [[facilitator]] and [[scribe]] for each meeting are selected at the meeting prior, and the agenda should be posted to the email list and the bulletin board (by the facilitator) well in advance of the meeting. Anyone can add items to the meeting agenda, but the facilitator has the right to organize them as s/he sees fit or may redirect them to an appropriate [[:Category:Working Groups|working group]] or [[:Category:Standing Committees|standing committee]].
