In order to code for the e-waste legislation mandated changes, we need to know exactly what is required. These scenarios are an attempt to flesh that out.
The entities
- Joe
- An individual, acting on his own. (Likes fishing.)
- Joe's Trucking
- A for profit business employing ten people. (Drives things around)
- Save the Puppies
- A 501(c)(3) employing five people. (Rescues endangered puppies.)
- Sludgecorp
- A for profit business operating a sulphiric acid pit and employing 7,000 people. (Makes boatloads of cash.)
- Puppy Rescue, Inc.
- A 501(c)(3) employing 700 people. (Contracts with Joe's Trucking and Sludgeco to rid the world of unwanted puppies.)
