On the left is the GRAPHITE BLUE (or "dull" blue) Macintosh. On the right is the BRIGHT BLUE (or "candy" colored) Macintosh.
This serial number label is found on the back of the graphite blue Macintosh computers. It shows the serial number and sometimes is includes the letters "DP" as indicated on this example.

What to do with them
- Keepers
- Pull the hard drive and memory.
- Have an instructor tally the system
- Take the system to the warehouse and place in Macintosh area
- No Keeper label is required
- Recyclers
- Open the system. (This can be tricky on beige macs,)
- Pull the hard drive
- Put a REASON FOR RECYCLE label on it.
- Circle RED LIGHT.
- Write OLD MAC on the label.
- Have an instructor tally the system
- Take the system to the warehouse and system recycling area
