STEPS NOTES AND DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS
REMOVE THE HARD DRIVE

Before you do anything else, always remove the system hard drive. If you can't find one, try and confirm that no drive is installed by finding the interface on the motherboard.

Check the optical drive
for any CDs

Use a small paper clip in the quick-release hole to open the optical drive. Any optical discs that you may find should be deposited in the Return to Receiving box.

Is there a Floppy Drive?
YES
NO
  • Proceed to the next step.
Is there a USB Port?
YES
  • Proceed to the next step.

Is the screen broken, or is there extensive damage?
