High End Systems

If the onboard video for a High End system is not present or non-functioning, or if the specifications of the system are sufficiently impressive, then an AGP or PCI-e videocard with no less than 128MB of VRAM shall be installed. If no such videocard is presently available, the system shall either be stashed per Instructor approval, or rejected and returned to Prebuild for processing.

Freekbox Sytems

If the onboard video for a Freekbox system is not present or non-functioning, then an AGP or PCI-e videocard with exactly 128MB of VRAM shall be installed. If no such videocard is presently available, the system shall either be stashed per Instructor approval, or rejected and returned to Prebuild for processing.

If the system has a Brooksdale chipset, refer to the 82845G policy.

Regular Systems

If the onboard video for a Regular system is not present or non-functioning, then an AGP videocard with 32 to 64MB of VRAM shall be installed. If no such videocard is presently available, the system shall be rejected and returned to Prebuild for processing.

FG-PDX Systems

If the onboard video for an FG-PDX system is not present or non-functioning, then an AGP or PCI videocard with 64 to 128MB of VRAM shall be installed. If no such videocard is presently available, the system shall either be stashed per Instructor approval, or rejected and returned to Prebuild for processing.
