List of Stuff to do in my Spare Time

Documents

  • May Project-create basic filing box for 2000-2006. I decided this was not going to work because it would be rare to know what date a document was created. Better way of organizing is by venue name or issue. I will build on what is in the monkey house cabinet and then branch out from there.
  • Clean out Deadtrees
    • Create a Post Build Schedule
    • SVN tricks:
      • Create poster for Free Geek and put in deadtrees
  • Create standardized procedure for doc flow (starting with matching up Calbag Metals) Look at Receiving and Paying Bills
  • Make sure all donations that should be getting a thank you are getting just that. Look at RT tickets every fourth Thursday.

Front Desk

  • Create a volunteer training program for Front Desk and Store cashiers

Outreach

  • Find Outreach flyers and put a link to outreach flyers on volunteer recruitment page
  • find a place on ryukan under usr/local/groups, put under outreach, maybe create a catalog thingy...then the store could go there and order.
  • create file folder with tee ordering info
  • Work on tour by adding my favorite interesting facts and practice often. Look at Tour Howto discussion page.
  • Do annual report.
  • Plan BBQ as volunteer reward.
  • Call beer vendors to get an estimate on geek fair:

I talked to Jeff and he ordered Pabst and got it for free. From the minutes it looks like we are not going to do free beer this time. I would like to do a local brewery. Jeff estimated 150 pints per keg and around 300 people drinking it. If they all had 3 pints of beer we would need 900 pints or 6 kegs.

  • Lucky Lab estimated $700 for 6 kegs (1/2 barrel)
  • Roots estimate $768 for 6 kegs (1/2 barrel)
  • Blue Dog, I e-mail Morgan and mentioned Richard since they had spoke about beer donation. And there was something in the minutes about one free, whatever that means.
