Over the years, people have proposed various jobs that we could -- if we were rich -- hire for, either into the collective or as interns. Here are some of those ideas:

Recycling Program Coordinator Job Description

Self explanitory

Office Coordinator

Oversees paperwork, bookkeeping, and reception duties.

Systems Admin

Liaison with ASS, monitor and maintain systems and software, manage technical emergencies.

Receiving Intern

Keep receiving flowing and make sure that volunteers both learn and help.

Testing Intern

Keep basic and advanced testing flowing and make sure that volunteers both learn and help.

Nonprofit Assistance Program Coordinator

Sales Exploratory Intern Job Description

Figure out systems for increasing sales. Good communication skills. Not as much as a technical position.

Reuse Exploratory Intern Job Description

Manage flow of donated "oddball" gizmos and ensure maximum reuse. This person might make sure that people and organizations who want oddball hardware (that Free Geek doesn't need elsewhere) are enabled to get it through the store, a grants program, or even something like the adoption program. Establish procedures for a these programs, streamline processes, and recruit volunteers. Help determine viability and need for a staff position.
