Library Plan
Intro
How will The Library change over the next 3-5 years so that Free Geek can better fulfill its mission and live up to its principles?
State of the program
Currently just a bunch of books on a shelf, the library is currently being organized and put into a database.
Current and past issues
The library has been largely ignored, with episodic interest. We are currently making a real effort to set it up as a useful resource.
Trends and predictions
Once the library is set up, it could be a valuable adjunct to the education program. Various publishers have offered to supply new titles. It is unlikely to take up less space than it does now and the upkeep, though needed is unlikely to take a lot of time. There will, however, need to be effort made to not let it fall into disuse again.
