When we ship material to reclaimers for processing, we can anticipate that they will pay us something. We should estimate how much they will owe us and record it in Accounts Receivable, much like we record invoices to organizations that drop off monitors and want to be invoiced rather than pay up front.

The major organizations we do business this way are:

  • Hallmark Refining Corporation
The average return per gaylord of ECB's was $476, which is slightly low considering the 3rd gaylord of 3 may only be 1/10 full
I still think this is a good average since if we expect slightly less money coming in, we won't spend money we won't have
The average return per bucket of CPU's is $471, which is again slightly low depending on how full the bucket was
CPU return also depends on what grade of CPU it is (high or low) which will obviously rise as more high end CPU's are acquired by freegeek
Goldfingers are $1 per pound and one bucket seems to hold just above 25 pounds
We have not salvaged more than 1 bucket in the last 16 months

These estimates should be able to grow as we have more data to work with

  • Quantum Resources, Inc.
