   * Samsung Unlock Sequence
   * The 8 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.

LG

• LGIC VX9800 = no master clear so you need to go in and erase all voicemail, text messages, ect. All contacts be deleted by hand. Nice phone but personal data issues with manual erase.
• LG VX3300 = no master clear, definitely not worth the time even thought this offers delete all contacts.

Samsung

• SCH-A870 = No master clear
• SGH-D407 = No master clear

Testing

• Does it have a battery?
• Grab the advanced testing power cord for blackberries and charge the battery.
• Does it turn on?
• remove the battery to find the model number
• google search "data erase, brand and model number"
