On Startup
- Build a help page on the local wiki:
- include tech support hours, FG hours of operation, and other contact information
- include physical descriptions of the hardware in use at the GAP site
- set up a dyndns.org account for that site. (i.e. redandblack.gap.freegeek.org)
Routine Maintenance
- as issues come up, put instructions in the local wiki
- regular updates of software (at least once per week)
- apt-get update
- apt-get dist-upgrade
- troubleshoot failures and post technical summary to gap@lists.freegeek.org
