Abbreviated Guide for Desktop Builds
Check for broken, damaged, or missing parts and replace as appropriate.
Verify Keeper label information.
Install a tested hard drive, optical drive, and RAM.
Set BIOS boot order. Verify the RAM installed against the specification category. Confirm that no BIOS passwords are set.
Boot to live image from network
Run basiccheck.
Test all USB ports.
Run printme.
Print physical copy of printme, fold in half length-wise, and tape to the top of the system.
Remove Asset Tags, but leave the Windows COA intact!
