City of Vancouver-Environmental Grant Program

30 May 2007 The Environmental Grant Program has been put on hold. I'm not sure who was most recently administering it, but responsibility is being transferred to the Sustainability Group. Until the transfer of responsibility is complete, the program is dormant.

This information came to me from the Sustainability Group (873-7748). The telephone numbers and contact name and e-mail on the above linked page are out of date. They lead to the Coastal Health Authority who used to be involved in the program. I was told that there is no set timetable for the reinstatement of this program. We will just have to keep our ears to the ground.

31 May 2007 Spoke with Amy Fournier of the Sustainability Group today. She confirmed that the program is on hold pending restructuring. Changes must go to Council for approval. She recommended that we call back mid-July to check on the status of the program.
