• This is an outreach activity and it should be a positive experience for the public.
• Accordingly, you need the proper infrastructure.
  • If it is a big event that is well promoted:
  • You need to partner with a recycler so that Free Geek only takes the reusable equipment:
    • Monitors after 2000
    • All systems
    • Some printers
    • Gizmos
  • To handle this load with the box truck:
    • Bring pallets and tarps so that you have a place to keep equipment out of rain while loading truck
    • Use 4 gaylords with covers, which hold 18 monitors each - 3 along the side and one on the other side for gizmos
    • Stack systems on top of the covered gaylords
  • You need volunteers for:
    • Unloading the vechicles
    • Assisting the customer at the table -- money, literature, sign up email
    • Load truck
  • If it is a smaller event, probably don't need to partner with a recycler
    • Same setup applies
