These are pinout settings for the standard Front Panel on Motherboards.

USB Internal

USB is made up of two 4-pin connectors, with a 5th throw away pin to make sure you don't plug it in backwards. The Pin-out information is the following:

VCC 1 Data- 1 Data+ 1 Ground 1 Not Used
2 4 6 8 10
1 3 5 7
VCC 2 Data- 2 Data+ 2 Ground 2 Key

IEEE 1394 (Firewire) Internal

IEEE usually looks exactly the same as the USB on the inside. Look for writing on the Motherboard to indicate whether it is USB or Firewire.

TPA- GND TPB- +12V S-Ground
2 4 6 8 10
1 3 5 7
TPA+ GND TPB+ +12V Key

Front Panel Audio

The front panel audio usually comes in either a 10-pin or a 14-pin Connection. Either way, most of them are hooked up the same way. If there is no front panel audio on the chassis, There must be jumpers between 5 and 6, and 9 and 10, or the back audio may not work.

Standard Front Panel Power

Front Panel Power can come in all sorts of ways. Best way is to look on the board. However, on some boards, there are is no writing. In that case, first try this output.

Power LED Power Switch KEY
2 4 6 8 10
1 3 5 7 9
HD LED Reset Switch

If this doesn't work, try starting with the Power Switch, and put it in every combination until it works. Then do the same with the HD LED, Power LED, and the reset switch.
