Policy
This policy was discussed by Council in late July and early August, 2002, but the date of adoption is unclear. Hours were changed to 10-6 (one hour earlier) in June of 2011 and have been updated here.
Free Geek is open from 10 AM to 6 PM, Tuesday through Saturday.
Notes
The hours were 12 - 8 before this decision, and the change was supported by data from the database on donations and volunteer hours. The days of the week were already set at Tuesday through Saturday.
The hours were 11 - 7 before this June 14, 2011.
Changing our hours of operation has been discussed at various times in recent (2006) history.
Currently counsel through its priorities group are creating something called "holiday hours".
