Establish an Electronics Reuse Site for person-to-person exchanges.

Will have completed: List of Consumer Questions for donors to ask computer reuse organizations prior to donation. A document listing information on privacy issues for donors. Instructions and software links to assist donors in clearing data from hard drives. Solicit feedback from reuse-related organizations regarding benchmark criteria for computers that are acceptable for reuse. Electronics Reuse Organization Pledge completed.

Include on the Electronics Reuse website a list of reuse organizations that have signed the BC Computer Reuse Organization Pledge.

Will have completed: Establish criteria for computers that are acceptable for reuse by program. Signed pledges returned from Computer Reuse Organizations.

Feb. 1, 2008

List of accredited reuse organizations available on the website.

Will have completed: Previously listed organizations that have signed the pledge audited and certified.
