Ali's notes on Black Hole organization
Storage
We clearly need an organized storage system in the Black Hole, as is evidenced by the mess.
Stuff that gets stored falls into a few categories:
- Waiting to be shipped off some where (this includes lockup gold components, batteries, etc.)
- Unevaluated Laptops
- Evaluated Laptops
- Store
- Grant
- Low-end models for bulk or as-is store
- Laptop Accessories
- Hard Drives
- Other Drives, i.e. CD-ROM, floppy, etc.
- Batteries
- Carrying Cases
- Hard Drive Cradles
- Adaptors & other little doo-dads
- Power Supplies
- Tools
Laptop Accessories should be separated by brand and perhaps even model if we have a ton of something (i.e. Dell)
Flow
