Ali's notes on Black Hole organization

We clearly need an organized storage system in the Black Hole, as is evidenced by the mess.

Stuff that gets stored falls into a few categories:

Waiting to be shipped off some where (this includes lockup gold components, batteries, etc.)
Unevaluated Laptops
Evaluated Laptops
- Store
- Grant
- Low-end models for bulk or as-is store
Laptop Accessories
- Hard Drives
- Other Drives, i.e. CD-ROM, floppy, etc.
- Batteries
- Carrying Cases
- Hard Drive Cradles
- Adaptors & other little doo-dads
- Power Supplies
Tools

Laptop Accessories should be separated by brand and perhaps even model if we have a ton of something (i.e. Dell)

Flow has been fixed. Systems are properly and quickly shelved after being through SDA. No longer an issue.

-*What if we moved the desk (currently closest to the door) perpendicular to where it is now, with its side up against the West shelves?  Then we could have incoming bins where the desk currently is = less crap in the entranceway
-*How about a "waiting to be shelved"/"I don't know where this goes" box, like at the library?  There could be multiple of these, perhaps on the shelves, such as drives, PDA's, power supplies, etc.
-*clear documentation about process of evaluation, build, qc, recycle would help the flow
-*inform Receiving of what exactly should be brought back here (maybe they can do some flow qc for Black Hole)
