Ubuntu Top and Bottom Panel Applications

These are the applications on the Top and Bottom Panels

The following two will restore the original layout (you will lose any changes that the user made, for good, or bad). 

gconftool --recursive-unset /apps/panel
pkill gnome-panel


Ubuntu 8.04 LTS (Hardy Heron)

Top Panel

  • Menu Bar
  • Application Launcher for Firefox
  • Application Launcher for Evolution
  • Application Launcher for Support
  • Notification Area

Bottom Panel

Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx), 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat), Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) Classic

Top Panel

  • Menu Bar - A custom menu bar (NOTE: Not Main Menu)
  • Application Launcher for Firefox
  • Application Launcher for Help and Support
  • Notification Area
  • Indicator Applet
  • Clock
  • Indicator Applet Session

Bottom Panel

  • Show Desktop
  • Window List
  • Workspace Switcher
  • Trash
