Wordpress Website Development Volunteer Internship
Note: this internship is project-based. He or she will help us change our website over from an html/css-based site to a Wordpress site. In general, we'd like our new site to help get the word out to multiple audiences, load easily through a dial-up connection, and be easy to maintain so we can teach volunteers about website maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Work with Shawn, the Outreach Committee, and a volunteer graphic designer to create a structure for our new website using Wordpress blogging software. Much of the site will be based around the structure of our current site. Much, but not necessarily all, of the list on this page will be included in the new site.
- Submit work to the Outreach Committee for tweaks and changes.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with Wordpress, html, and CSS.
In addition:
The ideal candidate will be able to work well under stress and maintain a positive attitude in a relatively chaotic setting. The candidate will not be afraid to ask questions, but will be able to work on projects with minimal supervision. The candidate will be able to remain flexible as Free Geek grows and changes.
