When the whole project stabilized into something workable, the proposed new bylaws were directed to and approved by the Free Geek Community [[Council]] and the current Free Geek [[Board of Directors]].

As we reached loose consensus on the topics discussed on this and other pages, we moved the changes on the Proposed Bylaws Working Draft page. When the whole project stabilized into something workable, the proposed new bylaws were directed to and approved by the Free Geek Community Council and the current Free Geek Board of Directors.

Due to those changes, the bylaws now reflect the process by which the Council selects board members.
