EXAMPLE PROJECT

Cafeteria Al Fresco

  • This project will move the cafeteria to the roof. By moving the cafeteria to the roof volunteers will have access to sunshine and fresh air as well as a relaxing place to take a break.

Dependencies

  • get Council approval
  • update budget for third quarter
  • Building a shelter on the roof to accommodate volunteers during the rainy season
  • Designing and constructing an elevator that goes from the ground floor up to the roof
  • acquiring materials

Next Steps

  • Moving the tables & chairs to the roof
  • Sally will do this as soon as the elevator is constructed. She will poke elevator builder.

  • Get an enormous flat-panel TV so volunteers can watch FOX news during their break
  • John will ask friend about where to get this. He will do this by 5/30/08.
