This template can be printed out for use with new hardware grants interns and volunteers. This can be used as a checklist for orienting hardware grants interns.

Hardware grants interns and volunteers need to have all four of the following accounts:

  • Signed up on grants list
  • Database
  • Claws

Your trainer will help you sign up for these accounts and he or she will walk you through using them.

Walk-through

Your trainer will show you where to find the following items:

Classroom

  • PCs
  • Printers
  • Headphones

Warehouse

  • Monitors
  • Keyboards
  • Mice
  • Power cords
  • Network cables
  • Printers (also in classroom)
  • LCD-monitors

Elsewhere

The following items can be found in the store, advanced testing, or in locked rooms. It is necessary to check in with a coordinator or staff member before removing any of these items from their area.

  • 20 GB IDE Hard Drives
  • Network devices
  • IDE Hard drives with >20 GB
  • Macintosh systems
  • Laptops
