This is a proposed big picture agenda for the Ad Hoc "Reduction Committee".

• Review the Layoffs and Hours Reduction Policy
• Itemize Fundraising and Other Cost Cutting Measures that have already been taken.
• Finalize the Layoffs and Hours Reduction Survey and distribute it to all staff members.
• Collect as many General Options for Reducing Staffing Costs as possible

• Collect the Results from the Layoffs and Hours Reduction Survey
• Start plugging names and numbers into the general options and create the Specific Options for Reducing Staffing Costs
• Estimate financial costs of Specific Options for Reducing Staffing Costs
• Estimate problems associated with Specific Options for Reducing Staffing Costs

To Finish

• Make recommendations for Round 1 of the cuts
• Make recommendations for Round 2 of the cuts
• Contact people who would be most directly affected to give them a heads up
• Write the report (based on Fundraising and Other Cost Cutting Measures and Specific Options for Reducing Staffing Costs)
• Submit to staff
